What is Caffeine Cream?
Caffeine can be found in a wide variety of products on the market today. Caffeine cream along with other ingredients help to treat under eye puffiness, fat loss and skin toning as well as cellulite reduction. More recently, caffeine creams are being used as topical agents to help reduce body fat and cellulite while cinching, tight lacing, corset training and osmotic wrapping. With whatever type of waist slimming regimen you prefer, you may consider using a caffeine cream for stomach fat loss as well. This is review of the AM Beauty and Body Caffeine Cream as part of my waist training workout routine to see if there is any benefit in using this caffeine cream for stomach fat loss and reducing the appearance of cellulite. Since caffeine cream has been proven to provide benefit with the reduction or appearance of cellulite so we’ll see what happens.
What is cellulite?
First of all, if you think you’re alone, you’re not. It is estimated that more than ninety percent or more of women above the age of 25 have some degree of cellulite. So what is cellulite anyway and what causes it? Cellulite is really nothing more than bumpy looking fat that is normally found in the thigh and buttocks region of women. Very few men get cellulite but it can also in rare instances be found in men as well. Cellulite forms when structures between fat and skin weaken and separate. This also causes collagen fibers in the skin to give way creating pockets of fat cells that bulge out and gives the appearance of lumps and bumps.
Does Caffeine Cream Work?
Having tried my share of products that claimed to be the end all be all solution only be let down once again, I entered into using the AM Beauty & Body Caffeine Cream with an open mind, yet also a bit of skepticism. The truth of the matter is that Caffeine cream is actually a proven cellulite fighter. Caffeine Creams have also been proven to immediately tighten the skin and some of these studies show that they work better when combined with retinol. One study that I found from 2007 in the Journal of Clinical Dermatology revealed that a large majority of the women tested who used cream composed mostly of caffeine saw their average thigh measurement shrink by half an inch. The key take-away here is that the results that these women achieved were not permanent and required regular product use to maintain their losses. It is believed that this is a direct result of the diuretic properties of caffeine and its ability to remove moisture from skin. Additionally, Caffeine is also an alkaloid that has the ability to deplete fat deposits under the skin.
How Does Caffeine Cream Work?
Like I mentioned earlier, caffeine is a known diuretic that can enhance fat metabolism and also can deplete water from around fat cells, causing skin to have a smoother appearance. This does not mean that caffeine is actually getting rid of cellulite, but making less apparent. When combined with other ingredients like retinol skin can be repaired on a cellular level. The true benefit of caffeine cream comes from the dehydration of water deposited around the fatty area where the cellulite appears. This is most notably seen when creams are used for bags and under eye circles as caffeine shrinks blood vessels through a process called vasoconstriction. When used on a regular basis, several times per day, caffeine cream can without a shadow of doubt reduce the appearance of cellulite, but once treatment stops it is almost certain that the bumpy appearance of cellulite will return.
Is Caffeine Cream Safe?
Caffeine creams are believed to be relatively safe, especially since caffeine it is the most widely used drug on the globe. The main thing to consider when choosing which caffeine cream to buy is what other ingredients are included. Many of the creams out there today that show the most benefit are those that contain retinol. Retinol is a derivative of vitamin A that helps with the elasticity of skin. Studies have shown that when caffeine and retinol are combined, they provide the most benefit. The only caveat to this is that when beginning use of retinol based products, some irritation and redness may occur.
After making use of a full jar of this product, which took me approximately 2 months, I did notice a significant difference in the appearance of fat around my midsection as well as the cellulite on my thighs and buttocks. I used the cream twice daily once in the morning after showing and again before going to bed. During these two months, I changed my diet slightly and exercised as many as three times a week during this period. You can view my waist training workout routine video and my midsection reveal in the video above. I tried to eat more cleanly and cut down on fat, but nothing too significant. I also constantly wore my latex waist trainer even when not working out, for as many as four hours per day. The reduction of both fat and cellulite was clearly evident, however I am sure that my workouts also helped with my overall reduction.
